Like several other Decepticons, Bladestrike sees himself as being a master of the martial arts. He has trained himself in numerous disciplines, refining his abilities and his combat techniques to make himself one of the deadliest hand-to-hand fighters in known space. For him, fighting is not just a part of his role as a warrior; it is an art from, one that he aims to become a true master of.

Unlike others, however, Bladestrike does not follow a single combat style or technique. Instead, he has created his own style from amalgamating elements from other combat styles, both Cybertronian and alien in origin. In order to further his own abilities, he has traveled the Galaxy, acquiring techniques from other masters and incorporating them into his own fighting style. Those who yield their secrets willingly are usually "rewarded" with a demonstration of his interpretation of the technique. For those who are not willing to share, he simply beats the information out of them.

Capabilities

A master of unarmed combat, Bladestrike carries no ranged weapons. However, he does not see this as a weakness, preferring to rely on his martial arts skills. His hands are equipped with special monomolecular-edge blades cancelled within the fingers, allowing him to slice through dense amour with a seemingly unarmed strike. The various maneuvers he has learned during his travels allow him to maximize the damage he deals, allowing him to take out theoretically far stronger or more powerful foes.

While he has no physical weaknesses, Bladestrike is rather arrogant and overconfident in his abilities. He never refuses a direct challenge, which can get him into serious trouble when he underestiamtes an opponent.
