Dispensor used to be a Real Gear Robot. He was brought to life in the Battle of Mission City by the All Spark. Angry, violent, impulsive, and bordeline-insane, Dispensor has a "shoot now, then shoot some more" attitude. For lack of members, Starscream recruited him before Shockwave, Soundwave, Ravage, and Rumble came to Earth.
Capabilities[]
In place of a lower right hand, Dispensor has a CO2 cannon loaded with cans of Mountain Dew. Mountain Dew cans seem nonthreatening, but when they're coming at you short range at around 75 miles per hour, it's a whole different ballpark. Once all six are gone from the revolver-like can-cannon, six more can come from each leg. Once those have been used up, simply fires CO2, although he can only fight close-range, because the pressure from the CO2 is lost after a certain distance.
Behind the Scenes[]
- Thanks to Dispensor, two versions of "A Robot in Disguise" were created. Due to his mother wanting to see the episode, the voice of Dispensor was changed because she can't stand the sound of someone breathing in roughly while speaking. However, his character remained the same in both.
