Mileage is old. He's very old. He's been fighting for longer then he remembers - or cares to think about. He's been a member of the Decepticon Army for so long that he can't even remember why he joined, but he figures that it must have been a good idea at the time. However, if anyone would ask him about it today, he'd probably complain about it, then tell them that they were being stupid for asking such a question.

Possibly due to his advanced age, or some other facet of his history, Mileage seems to have a deep and profound dislike for, well, anything. He is weary of life and more than tired of the many surprises it has thrown his way. He frequently complains to whoever is handy (or even himself if nobody else is available) about whatever is bothering him at any one given moment. He is particularly fond of complaining about his fellow exiles, especially Nemesis and Carjack. In fact, about the only thing that he seems to like is complaining about things.

His many years of experience have given him an in-depth knowledge of tactics and various combat styles, which makes him an invaluable asset. Or, rather, it would if he wasn't constantly complaining.

While possessed of only average strength, Mileage is rather resilient and durable. In both modes, he can take a lot of punishment before being knocked out of action. This is somewhat offset by complications from his advanced age; he is also more prone to mechanical failure and malfunctions then other Transformers of similar design would be. A complete overhaul would possibly offset some of this, however both the lack of resources available to the Exiles as well as his own generally reluctant and argumentative nature prevent this from happening.

In car mode, he normally tops out at 160 km/h, however a series of boosters in the rear section can increase this up to 225 km/h for short bursts. In robot mode, these boosters can also be used to asset in jumping and leaping. In robot mode, Mileage is armed with a long-range laser rifle.

He has one other considerable asset; his obsolete (and rather unattractive) vehicle mode makes him rather low-profile and unnoticeable. This allows him to act as a scout without drawing the attention that others would.
