Rickshaw is a fanonical Decepticon from the fiction A New Threat Emerges. Irrational and scheming, Rickshaw has little to no patience. He is often destroying what ever is in his way, whether it is a decepticon ally or a building, it suffers at his wrathful hands when his goals have not been met. He does find joy in dreaming of and plotting his enemies deaths. His trademark backhand is inspired by Gibbs's antics.

"The only good thing Autobots are for is target practice."
—Rickshaw

Overview

Unpredictable, and reckless, Rickshaw would rather risk his teams freedom and lives inorder to obtain his goals. He is described as a fearful leader who would rather squish you just as soon as look at you. Rickshaw is described as a black and red marked EC 225 Super Puma.

Rickshaw first appears in the fiction as another of Professor Sebastian Trenton's pawns alongside Blockade. He has been given the task of capturing Sparkshot, which he fails without care. Having had fun blasting the autobot into a crater. He is punished by Trenton for having returned empty handed by 50,000 volts of electricity via the correctional belt around his neck. This is quite possibly the only time Trenton is seen using the belt.
Excerpt-

<- "You come back empty handed. Care to explain yourself Rickshaw?"

The man went up to finger the remote around his neck, enjoying deep down, the onlook of the droids' fear as it had gulped.

"You see boss, here's the thing."

"He had refused to come quietly, so I resorted to knocking him out inorder to transport him cooperatively."

"Natch, I hit the target, but he crashlanded into a scrap yard. He's gone now, I watched as a mountain of metal crashed ontop of him."

"If the scrap metal didn't squish him, then the humans will."

Rickshaw suddenly screamed out as thousands of particle volts scored through his mechanical body, eventually collapsing to the ground from the sheer power of the voltage.

"I don't like dissapointment boys."

He eventually pulled his thumb away from the remote around his neck as the body of Rickshaw eventually lay still after the spasms of the electrical current stopped. Smoke rose from his body as the Autobot knealt down behind him. ->

He is often giving his team mates a slap to the back of the head when one has spoken up out of rank or has failed a simple task.

Excerpt-

<- "You lunk head!" a swift blow to the head by a backhand from Rickshaw was all he needed. His pride was already hurting after he was outsmarted by the scrap metal and the insect child.

"Sorry boss." Onslaught spoke, tone heavy and mixed with anger as he looked slowly up at his leader.

"I aught to make scrap metal out of you for losing them!" It had become apparent that Rickshaw was hoping for release after having heard of the Autobot's freedom.

"There will be other times boss." Anchorbait, the smallest of the five spoke up nervously as he approached, hoping to get his pal out of the heat.

A pure light peircing the distant night sky caught Rickshaw's attention, keeping him from backhanding Anchorbait.

"Perhaps there will." He smirked, seeing that the homing signal came from within the junkpit. ->

He still schemes to get the correctional belt off of his neck, by force if neccessary. Yet he is constantly blaming the autobots for getting in his way.

Far different than his Y3K self, Rickshaw enjoys monologuing his victims to boredom before shutting them down permanently. Though it is a weakness he stubbornly refuses to take notice, he makes up for in brute force and tactics. He finds Megatron's goal in searching for the Allspark a lost cause, blaming his lust of its possession as their downfall in the Great War and never hides this displeasure. Being Earthbound, he and his team of misfits make trouble when they can to spice things up. He's not ashamed that a Protoform and an Autobot rookie are constantly foiling their plans of global conquest. He merely comes back with fists swinging and a new tactic or two.
