Shockwave took up the reigns as general of the Decepticon rebellion after Megatron disappeared. Armed with logic and infinite patience, he had hoped to quell the Imperial threat, or at least pacify the Empire's thirst for more territory. In the end, however, he was left with nothing, dragged to the Imperial prison camps in disgrace.
Now, he faces the responsibilities of caring for his imprisoned people with a quiet dignity that even the Autobots cannot touch. Nor is Blurr particularly interested in doing so, though the reasons behind this remain a mystery to most Autobots.
