The win:

An article with the most votes wins. Also, articles within one vote will win. For example, an article wins with seven votes. Any article with six votes also wins. To If there is a tie between two or more articles the article with the least oppositions wins. For example, two articles tie with seven votes. One article has two oppositions and the other has none. The article with no oppositions wins. If an article is in the negatives or at zero, it doesn't win.

After the win:

When an article wins, it will be added to the list of featured articles, the upcoming article queue, and to the history of featured articles.

  1. I love this page. From the adorable picture, to the unintentional funny that Hasbro apparently lost the copyright to the name “Tak.” I’d like to see more pages like this. Stuff made by people who don’t think they’re doing the most important thing ever, but also doing this because they genuinely enjoy it. But mostly because I think that out of the three, this author is the only one who could actually use the encouragement. It’s not a featured article now, but one day it could be. It was a good try, and maybe when it is older and worked on more. Again, sorry. General Grham Talk to me. NCIS Wiki 00:37, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

  1. I'm supporting, but please realize that its only because the FA stuff is new. If FA's have been around for a while, it would have way to many redlinks. Right now, I like it. So I'll go ahead and vote (thus crossing out my oppose, because it follows the policies.) PhobiSpeak To the Almighty... 01:40, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

  1. Look at the Main Page for FAs. It doesn't have some of the things needed.

1. …be well written and detailed, with at least one link to an article on the Transformers Fanon Wiki.

Now it has 1 link, but it still needs some other stuff. General Grham Talk to me. NCIS Wiki 23:04, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

  1. Sorry, but no. It just doesn't look like FA material.—DarthtylerTalk 13:27, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
Why, does it have to be a repainted Optimus Prime? --ItsWalky 14:07, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

Hahaha, no. How old are you? --ItsWalky 15:03, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
Walky, you already know the answer to that. That's just kinda mean. --Suki Brits 20:41, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

#The article is good, but it cannot be picked if it does not follow our policies. Your articles don't have to follow all the policies, but if you expect them to become FA's, they must. If your article is breaking a policy (one that is for every article), we will let you know on your talk page. PhobiSpeak To the Almighty... 01:40, 13 July 2007 (UTC) 21:28, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

  1. It’s a neat page, and I think the author did a really good job, but I really don’t see how it can currently be nominated for a featured article. I find it slightly confusing, it says he’s neutral, but that he sides with the Autobots, and then makes Autobots… and fights the Decepticons…. It links to several articles which do not meet the style guidelines, seeing as article titles must be singular, not plural. I’m not sure it meets requirement 2, as the overall tone is pretty biased. It goes on and on about how fantastic he is, while barely mentioning anything about when he essentially turned evil. This glosses over character flaws in favor of one perception of the character. I’m positive it doesn’t meet requirement 10, as there are no characteristics on his alt mode, save for a link to a page that has nothing on it.

Personally, I think we should scrap this whole feature article nomination and voting thing, until we have an actual consensus on a functional style guide. Sarrc 16:59, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
