The Unknown F-15 Transformer is an mysterious robot who appeared over Empire City during a battle with the renegade Decepticon Superweapon, Shadow Flare.
Masquerading as an Empire City ANG F-15C Eagle (complete with appropriate markings, squadron numbers, call numbers and even the "EC" Tailcode), the robot joined the second flight of Eagles sent to intercept the Decepticon during his attack on the city. As Shadow Flare engaged the squadron, the robot transformed and attacked the Decepticon, catching him off-guard. Damaged in the attack, Shadow Flare crash-landed in the city, unable to take flight again.
The unidentified Transformer then flew off, apparently not wanting to be identified.
Analysis of video footage of the battle revealed very little about the robot beyond the basics. He appeared to be a male Seeker Jet with yellow or gold eyes, but otherwise wore standard USAF colours. He did not carry any other insignias.
He does not appear to be Dropshot either.
